Silje Norendal (@siljenorendal) is a Norwegian Professional Snowboarder, Silver Medal at Utah World Championship and the new face of the 2019’s D1 Milano campaign.

This year D1 Milano chose to portray talent and attitude. These are a few of the characteristics that embody the pillars of our company.

She was raised with a snowboard strapped to her feet. She started snowboarding when she was four at her home resort in Kongsberg, Norway and participated in her first contest in 1999 when she was six.

Today she competes in different disciplines including halfpipe, slopestyle and boardercross.

Some of the remarkable achievements of her professional career are:

2013 Gold medal in women’s slopestyle in Winter X Games Europe in Tignes

2014 Winner of women’s slopestyle in Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado

2014 Fourth place in the Slopestyle Semifinals at the Winter Olympics in Sochi

2015 Gold medal in women’s slopestyle in Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado for the second time

2017 Gold medal in women’s big air in Winter X Games Europe in Hafjell

2017 Bronze medal in women’s big air at Sierra Nevada World Championship

2018 She added a Cab 1080 to her repertoire at the Audi Nines event in Austria

2018 Fourth place in the Slopestyle final at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang

2019 Silver Medal in women’s slopestyle at Utah World Championship
